About Corella
Helen Okafor opened Corella after eleven years at a franchise office two suburbs over. She’d seen too many sellers sign with whoever quoted highest, then spend weeks being talked down.
So she set up an agency with one rule: the price we tell you has to be backed by sales you can check. Ten years on there are six of us, all living within a few kilometres of the office.

What we stand for
We tell sellers what the evidence says, even when it isn’t the number they hoped for. No inflated quotes to win the listing.
We know which side of the street gets the afternoon sun and what the terrace two doors down sold for. Local isn’t a slogan; it’s our method.
Every home gets a campaign planned for it: the right photographer, the right words, the right buyers. Never a template.
We work for the seller and act like it. We return calls the same day and own our mistakes.
Independent vs franchise
| Topic | Corella | Typical franchise office |
|---|---|---|
| Who sells your home | The agent who appraised it | Often whoever has capacity |
| Appraisals | Written range with the sales behind it | Often a single figure, verbal |
| Reporting | Written report every Monday | Varies by agent |
| Listings per agent | A handful at a time | Can be dozens |
| Where the fee goes | Stays with a local business | Part goes to head office and the brand |

A free appraisal is the best way to judge us: the evidence, the range, and how we explain it.
